Please see ECB email below.
Unfortunately, the cricket club must remain closed in line with Government guidelines. The “relaxing” of the lockdown on Sunday/Monday (10/11 May) does not make any change to recreational cricket and therefore we must stay away. There have been a number of offers of help, regarding routine maintenance etc. but for the time being this is impractical. Martin has been maintaining the outfield/square etc. and it looks great! – He is happy isolating and therefore protecting his family.
Rest assured!!! – when cricket/related activities are allowed at Birlingham CC, we will welcome all help/participation, to kick start whatever season we are allowed.
