Eckington Road
Speeding traffic on Eckington Road has increased notably in recent weeks, especially on a Sunday. There may be fewer vehicles about but a greater percentage of them are travelling too fast. The speeds at which many motorcyclists in particular travel through the 40mph stretch are outrageous. What to do? A petition of some sorts? Parish Council? Police? I realise that the majority of residents are not really affected by this but for those of us who live on Eckington Road it is a real nuisance, not to mention danger. Some ideas on the most appropriate way to proceed would be most welcome.

Information from the Parish Clerk
Speeding and road safety issues affect all areas of Birlingham. The local police advise that matters of concern would best be reported to the Safer Roads Partnership at West Mercia. Here is the link https://cms.westmercia.police.uk/roadsafety
