Memories Project & Second World War Booklet
(Ref 00031) Posted on 21 July 2019 at 19:10 by Birlingham Jubilee Committee

Can you tell us more about life in the village during this time? Did you or someone you know, leave to serve their country?

Every day we are losing veterans of WW II and people who lived through this momentous time in history. With each one that passes so do their memories, experiences and stories. Hardly a soul living at the time would go unaffected by it. Do you have memories of your time, or that of your family and friends, serving for our Country either at home or abroad or working/living in the villages during this time? If so, we'd love to hear from you. We would like to record these memories from this important time in our history for future generations.

If you would like to support this project please contact Birlingham Jubilee Committee at memories@birlingham.org or Tel 07801 368593
