A busy day on Sunday, with the family service at St
James’s Church in the morning and the annual Presidents’ Day cricket match at
the Cricket Ground in the afternoon.

St James’s Church will be continuing the popular
family services on the first Sunday of each month during the summer. The next
three services will be on 7th July, 4th August and 1st September.
Everyone is welcome to come, and to stay for
refreshments in the Church following the service.

The annual cricket match
between the Presidents XI and Birlingham Cricket Club will take place on Sunday
8th July, starting at 2.00pm.
Tea will be available
during the afternoon and the bar will be open. Music will be provided by the
Senior Service Band. All welcome.

The Family Sports Day on Sunday 23rd June was
enjoyed by around fifty people, including visitors from Yorkshire. Races
included Egg & Spoon, Potato Race, Sack Race, Three-Legged Race, Plank Race
and the ever-popular Dressing-Up Race.
