Next week sees the Birlingham Parish Council
meeting on Wednesday and the 20th anniversary Vintage & Classic Car Rally on
Friday.

The next Parish Council meeting is on
Wednesday 16th July at 7.45pm in Birlingham Village Hall. If you have any issues
you would like to discuss, please come along.

This year’s 20th anniversary Vintage &
Classic Car Rally will take place on Friday 18th July at Birlingham Cricket
Club, starting at 6.30pm (6.00pm if bringing a car). In addition to vintage and
classic cars and motorcycles, there will be a barbecue, bar, tombola and raffle.
Entrance is £2 for adults, children under 16 free.
The rally is in aid of Birlingham Cricket Club and Macmillan Cancer
Support. If anyone has any items to donate for the Macmillan tombola, please
drop them off at The Corner House by Monday 14th July.

Judging for Birlingham Flower & Produce Show’s
Hanging Basket Competition takes place between Monday 14th and Friday 18th July.
The winner will receive the Birlingham Nurseries Rose Bowl, which will be
awarded at the Show on Saturday 6th September.
This year, any pot, planter or basket on display in
the village will be included in the competition unless you have opted out. For
more information, contact Carly Mills at 4 Church Street. Further information on
