Eckington Bridge will be closed from Monday 21st to Friday 25th August for repairs to the parapet. During this period the bridge will be closed to all vehicular traffic, day and night. However, pedestrians and cyclists will be allowed to cross the bridge.

 

The alternative route to Eckington or Bredon is via Pershore, Great Comberton and Nafford.

We have been informed that there is an application to site 81 static holiday caravans on Comberton Golf Course. The caravans may be visible from parts of Birlingham. The application number is 17/01435/FUL. A map and further details can be viewed at www.birlingham.org/docs/static_homes.pdf.

 

You can make representations to Wychavon District Council online at https://plan.wychavon.gov.uk by writing to the Planning Department, Wychavon District Council, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, WR10 1PT. Representations must be received by Wednesday 23rd August.
