Village Defibrillator

Kelvin Hartshorne writes:
Following the fantastic village response for donations toward the purchase and installation of a Village Defibrillator, the item has been purchased and installed adjacent to the main entrance doors of the Village Hall. Thank you to everyone who cared enough to donate; a full list of contributors can be seen at http://www.birlinghamvillagehall.org/page22.html#list.

Hands-on training on how to use the defibrillator will be available free of charge to every person in the village over the age of 8 years. The first two sessions are on Monday 20th November in the Village Hall, the first commencing at 10.30am and the second at 7.30pm, and will last 40-50 minutes. Places are limited in order to allow everyone attending to become familiar and comfortable with the equipment. All places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Weekend date(s) could not be provided before Christmas due to prior bookings; please look out for further information in future newsletters.

If you would like to attend on Monday please contact Kelvin by email at kelvin.hartshorne@btinternet.com, indicating how many places and which time slot.
